Secure Data Destruction

Kuldeep Green Recyclers provides secure data destruction services, ensuring each device undergoes data erasure in accordance with your specific security requirements.

1 – Why Data Destruction Services?

Our hard drives and other storage devices often contain personal and confidential data such as business contracts, customer lists, passwords, credit card numbers, and photos. A quick format won’t stop this data from potentially falling into the wrong hands, as data recovery software can still retrieve it.

Our secure data destruction services ensure 100% destruction or erasure of your data, helping you prevent identity theft and protect sensitive information.

2 – What Is The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive?

The WEEE Directive is legislation aimed at minimizing e-waste in landfills by promoting the reuse of electrical and electronic equipment. It mandates that organizations treat WEEE as regulated waste rather than ordinary waste.

Businesses are required to implement IT waste disposal policies in compliance with the WEEE directive. Due to the complexity of the disposal process, many businesses hire professional and secure IT disposal services to manage it effectively.

3 – What Are My Secure Data Destruction Options?

Eco Green IT Recycling offers various data destruction methods, ensuring compliance with the WEEE directive and providing certificates of destruction for each method.

Data Degaussing: We use a degaussing machine to eliminate or reduce magnetically stored information on your hard drives. By exposing them to a powerful magnetic field, we neutralize the data stored on your hard drives.

Data Shredding: Disposing of hard drives requires specialized equipment. We use CPNI-approved shredders to reduce your hard drives to 6mm fragments, as required. Our process includes scanning serial numbers to complete the audit trail. If needed, our secure data destruction process can be overseen and witnessed in person.

Hard Drive Crushing: Our experts use extreme pressure (3,400 kilos) to punch irreparable holes in your hard drives, rendering the data irretrievable by destroying the drive platters.

4 – Get Your Proof of Destruction

We provide certificates of destruction to support your audit trail. These certificates confirm that your business complies with all data protection laws and that your personal or confidential data is no longer at risk.
